Description

E-Spec Fence Post Concrete is a high performance, early strength post hole concrete for use in setting all types of fence post and supports including wood, metal, concrete and plastic posts. E-Spec Fence Post Concrete is pre-mixed in a modern production facility which ensures a constant quality product. It contains dried sand, lime, additives, cement and ECOCEM GGBS (Ground Granulated Blast-furnace Slag). GGBS is a recycled product, manufactured from blast furnace slag, a by-product of steel making. It saves energy CO2 and other emissions and is now widely used as an environmentally friendly cost-neutral alternative to ordinary cement. ECOCEM is a European leader in the production and use of GGBS cement. Low Carbon Fence Post Concrete containing ECOCEM GGBS is a superior quality concrete.

Instructions

1. Dig hole to recommended depth for fence and post type.
2. Fill the hole to approximately half full of water and place the post in position.
3. Pour the Fence Post Concrete at a steady rate around the post while tampering to ensure thorough mixing.
4. Add a small amount of extra water if any dry powder remains and continue to tamper.
5. Align post to required position. No bracing required as Fence Post Concrete sets in 10 minutes.
6. Please note that cold weather will slightly retard the setting time and warm water may be used to counter act the retardation.
